Digital Guide + Map Albania

Hey there, my name is Beat and I am 25-year-old Swiss dude. I happened to get my dream internship at the Swiss Embassy of Albania and thus lived and worked in Tirana for half a year. I studied International Relations and I am drawn to politics and history. Albania proved to be a super interesting destination for me and I am still learning something new about it every day. Every weekend and day-off, I traveled the country. I started taking some pictures with my Fujifilm camera and saved some spots for me to remember on Google Maps. Having saved more than 178 locations and having shot and edited more than 1000 pictures, the idea came to me to put everything together. I started teaching me some InDesign skills, and somehow ended up with this – a Digital Guide alongside a Digital Map.

The Guide contains 88 pages full of information about must-see spots all around the country, vibrant Albanian cities, the best accomodations and restaurants, picturesque beaches and roads, and several great hiking oppurtunities and much more.

The link to the Digital Map is included in the guide. In the Map, there are currently over 200 places saved, with new ones being added continuously.
